Came crawling back to this one!
I struggle with acne-prone combination skin but tend to lean more oily. I received this as a gift about 8 months ago, and was skeptical to try it because 1.) It’s marketed for dry skin which heavier creams such as this one make me more oily, and 2.) My skin is so prone to breakouts whenever I try new products. But when I tell you this moisturizer has saved my skin, I’m not lying! I saw the difference just days after trying it. It sets in quick, doesn’t leave a heavy, sticky, or greasy feeling, and makes my skin look so hydrated. Though yes, my skin still gets oily throughout the day, it is visibly healthier than it ever has looked. My family and friends have even been telling me that my skin looks a lot better! I finally just ran out of the 1.7 oz tube, and hesitated to buy a new one because I didn’t realize how EXPENSIVE it was since it was a gift. As a budget girly, I went down a TikTok rabbit hole on affordable skincare and ended up trying out a new viral cream that was half the price of this one, and it broke me out so bad. I had small white pimples all over my forehead and cheeks that kept showing up each day I used it. So I came back to my Dr. Jart cream and after 2 days my skin is already looking so much better and calmer! I’d say it definitely surprised me as I didn’t think it would be compatible with my skin type, and now I know it’s actually worth the money.
