do not buy - bad quality

I used to like this product, but this is the 2nd time in the last 3 month that I've purchased this and the product is separated. I saw another reviewer describe the consistency as curdled milk, which is accurate. I heard about people having issues with the product breaking down and separating after a month or so of use, I think that's unacceptable, but even worse that it's already separated at the time of purchase. I've contacted Kosas about this issue and their support team could not care less.

Greasy, patchy mess. Blends horribly and emphasizes every bit of texture. Avoid if you have acne-prone skin.

If you like BB creams, try it

This is underrated. Make sure you give it a good shake and apply it with your hands. I throw this on with some bronzing and glow drops and my skin looks incredible. Quick, easy, and I don’t break out.

Strange product formula

The aqueous phase is separated from the oil phase. Saw a lot of complaints of this AFTER i purchased the product. It does provide good, buildable coverage and it is true to match. No skin reactions here so will continue to use it because apart from the separation issue despite being new, I have no other issues with the product

Perfect Perfect!

This is AMAZING! goes on like BUTTER! So smooth, great texture. Perfect color. I am a fan for life.

I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I find it to be an ok everyday make up tint. I usually go for the no make up make up look. The formula is a cool gel like texture and I don’t find that mine separates. The one negative thing I’ve noticed is that the smell is off putting. I still wear it everyday and basically just try to ignore the smell. It only smells once you put it on and then it goes away. Unsure if I will buy this product again but it’s not bad.

I’m gonna be honest the formula was so bad and PATCHY I really wanted it to work but kosas left me down now it just sits on my vanity I can’t throw away cause it costed money

I love that the Kosas BB Gel Cream gives a sheer, dewy finish that evens out my complexion without feeling heavy or greasy. I also love how breathable and hydrating it is. It’s perfect for everyday wear, especially on minimal makeup days. My only drawback is that if you don’t blend enough or blend fast enough, it will dry into a sort of crumble.

My must- have

I have very dry/combo skin, and this is the perfect skin tint. I also have a lot of acne, and it didn't break me out, for some reason , it clears it. Definitely get it !!

🫒 perfection, worth the drawbacks.

I felt motivated to give this a five-star review because of how beautifully this works and how incredibly olive skin friendly the shade range is. The negative reviews aren't necessarily wrong, and I totally understand them, but for me, the two reasons cited in those reviews are worth dealing with. The product does separate a bit and you need to gently mix it with a brush or finger to get it evened out, but since I mix BB cream with sunscreen and glow drops anyways that's not an issue for me. I also agree with the reviews that describe the smell, which is similar to the smell of their concealer. It does have a slightly odd makeuppy smell that makes me think of an artificial peanut butter. However, the smell goes away very quickly after use. Despite those two things, it's absolutely stunning, and the finish is perfectly balanced, not too matte and not too dewy, so you can add whatever you want under it, on top of it, or mixed with it to get the translucent skin effect with any kind of finish you prefer. Also, as previously mentioned, they nailed olive tones. I can actually see the golden greenishness just looking at it in the tube! Not many brands include olives in their tinted products, which are usually less inclusive than regular foundations overall, and the fact they did and nailed it is amazing. I almost wish I didn't start using this because, by comparison, it makes my other olive toned products look just plain neutral and greyish on me. I will deal with 5 seconds of artificial peanut butter smell every day if it means continuing to get the best light coverage and true olive matching ever.

Weirdest product ever!

I both love and hate this product. I have experimented with different layering of primers, and certain combinations are awful and patchy. However when paired with the rare beauty primer, this finishes really nicely! The application is concerning at first, but trust the process and keep blending out. Two pumps and some good blending with proper primer and you’ll be shocked by the finish! *Does not play well with Elf or Milk super grip primers. I would repurchase now that I know the drill, but I really can’t say a product is universally good when there is this much variation.
