I wasn’t expecting too much as for the color saturation and payoff but being a total Ilia devotee I did have high hopes with respect to the hydration results. I purchased three shades: hold me, lullaby, and memoir. At first glance I thought the shades may have been too deep for my light/medium complexion. Boy, as I wrong. Each shade was very complimentary while still looking natural and provided great color saturation that lasted several hours. I was blown away by how smooth the lip balm left my lips which were a bit dry due to the wintry conditions. In my opinion I feel these lips balms made my lips look very smooth and healthy after just wearing a couple of times. I continue to grab the Ilia Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm time and again for a smooth touch of color look. I highly recommend!

I love these Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balms! They are very moisturizing and the colors are great! I have a couple of these and use them daily.

Too dark!

I bought this expecting it to be barely color depositing, like needing 5 coats for a color. Nope. One coat and you get a deep rich color already, which is too much for my needs, I wanted a sheer lip balm type of thing. The consistency is great, it doesn't leave that weird bad taste in my mouth that most lipsticks do, and it's truly hydrating, not as much as a chap stick, but closer than any other "hydrating" lipstick I have tried before.

beautiful color, nourishing balm

I really like this balm and the color Lady is gorgeous. I find it sometimes too balmy/sheer and to get bold color, I apply more of the balm, leaving my lips sometimes too glossy, but it always leaves my lips feeling nourished and healthy. I received a sample of all 8 shades as well and Faded is absolutely to die for. I love a brown lip, and it can be difficult to find one that doesn't overpower my fair complexion. I scraped as much product out of the sample package as possible and will definitely purchase Faded on my next order.
