It works mostly the same as the older version (packaging, scent, performance) except the finish is different. I do think this is better suited for oily, perhaps combo skin type..

It also controls oil and is water-resistant, among other things. Fragrance: I try to guess the scent, but I can't make it out. It still smells great. Ingredients: Aqua, water, eau, polysilicone, etc. Texture: It's a quick-drying liquid spray.

I really like this setting spray for keeping my makeup in place. It gives a nice matte finish without making my skin look dry or cakey. My makeup stays fresh pretty much all day, even in warmer weather. I also noticed it helps blur my pores a little, which is a nice bonus. The spray itself is fine and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It is a bit pricier than other sprays, but the results make it worth it if you want your makeup to last longer and look smoother.
