Strongly fragranced but I love it!

This is such a nice product , I love how it brightens up my face. I picked up the light shade worried it wouldn’t look right on my medium skin tone but it looks beautiful. This powder makes my skin look glowy without looking greasy

Disappointing

This packaging is impossible to open without hurting myself or breaking a nail every time. It showed up as mess and only covers my fave in a fine glitter. I bought this as a birthday gift to myself after wanting it for 5 years. I am so let down by every aspect of this product.

expensive and shows texture

Just okay. very expensive for what it is. it's too shimmery for all over the face, so use sparingly. this one is a regret for me. I use it where I would apply a highlight, just for the sake of using it. I waited too long, or I would have returned it. Plus, this limited edition packing is ugly. It's not something I would display. It has a super strong smell, which i don't mind, but for people who are sensitive, I'd pass on this one

As a makeup setting powder, the makeup setting function and staying are weaker. But it can leave a beautiful light feeling on the face, if you want a light setting powder, for dry skin，this is a good choice

Understand the Product Before Purchasing

Reading through reviews, I noticed some seemed to have been unsatisfied with the product, so I've put a great deal of time into this review so that you can understand a few things before purchasing so that you will know if this product is for you. In France, I learned the importance of the Guerlain Météroites brush when using this product. Luckily, when I purchased it there, it came with my Météorites set. Their brush was designed for best use with/of this product and it makes a noticeable difference when picking up the powdered colours and distributing them. Nylon brushes do not pick this product up well as the goat hair brush Guerlain designed for this product. In fact, you should not use a nylon brush with with at all. You'll notice that one of the main ingredients in the powder itself is nylon-12 so that it sits on top of the skin instead of being absorbed like certain ingredients used by other companies. If you've ever rubbed nylon against nylon, you understand what this is like. It's also important to note that I'm very light, fair and I rely heavily on Clair 02/léger iridescent colour correction as gold tones don't suit me well and are overpowering for daily wear. Depending on your complexion needs, it's best to try the product first before purchasing (which I understand is hard given most Sephora stores don't carry the higher end luxury brands with testers), but if you can, you can try the three possibilities and then compare. The Météorites Line is based on attaining a light, finished iridescent, pearlescent look. The product isn't meant to be applied as thickly as a regular powder, either. It should be a light sweep or dusting, otherwise it won't look as it is should. If you're looking for strong golden tones or bronzed tones in your highlighter/illuminator powder, you'll have to look at other products.

Pretty to look at

I admit it. I bought this because of all the hype behind it. I don't like it. It's too shimmery to use all over the face and not pigmented enough to use as highlighter. If you really want you can pack it on cheekbones for subtle highlight but there are so many better highlighters for less money. And it's super dusty. I kept it because I love the tin that it came in. I wouldn't recommend or repurchase.

Great product

I got this in shade Claire 2, I am very fair skinned and this looks great on. It does everything it says it will do - it illuminates your face in a nice "soft focus" kind of way and minimizes flaws. I really like it. I use it to set my foundation

first off, i don't use setting powder because i have extremely dry patches but oily t-zone. this is horrible for oily areas but that's ok because the description has never claimed it to do so. also, depending on which foundation and how my skin is reacting that day, this may accentuate dryness. so why 4 stars? with the guerlain lingerie de peau, this is amazing. it blurs and smooths large pores and evens out my skin. initally, the shimmer really scared me but it's actually not bad at all. it adds a nice glow. very radiant. I'm would give this a 5 star BUT it's over priced for a cheap metal tin. even food cans are more durable than this. overall, this is a great product even on dry skin but cheap metal tin. Im willing to pay more for a better quality tin with refills like the compact meteorites.

I just can't

I wanted to like this so bad. I even thought of keeping it for the container but I have to return it. The powder gets all in the air and not on my brush, it does literally nothing to my skin, and the smell give me sneezing fits. I can't keep this in my house.

illuminating

I bit my tongue while purchasing this because of the price tag, but I would definitely repurchase this product again! I have dry skin and typically if I wear foundation most of the time I don't set my foundation because I love a luminescent , dewy, radiant complexion and I feel if I were to set my face with a powder everything would be too matte and accentuate my dry patches. With this powder I will use it all over my face but it still gives me a lit from within glow that makes me look healthy and radiant. I absolutely love this packaging and it makes you feel special every time you use it. I think this product does help my makeup last longer too. I bought medium 03 and I have a light-medium skin tone
