Airstrait - piastra wet to dry

Best thing ever!

I had birthday money to spend & had heard & seen great results from the Airstrait, so I thought I'd give it a go, WOW it has blown me away! From wet to dry my hair stays straight the whole week & looks so healthy, I would recommend this 100% . My only qualm is the plug is huge, & my socket sits right on top of my dressing table so it wont fit in. I have to use an extension lead which is a little annoying. But wouldn't be without the Airstrait now ever!

Good buy

Very happy with airstrait. It cuts the drying and styling time in half. And my hair feels thicker now maybe because I'm seeing far less hair loss during the drying/styling process vs the traditional heat tools. I actually had a bad fringe for a bit after getting it as I noticed very small sections of hair in my fringe. I wondered why I would have cut them so short but then realised it was my baby hair growing out. It definitely does far less damage to hair. Is it slightly cumbersome, yes, but it's a minor tradeoff if you are more interested in the hair health.

Changed the game when it comes to hair drying!

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and it has changed the game when it comes to drying my hair especially. Seems to dry my wet hair in one glide. Used to hate the whole hair wash experience but now it is quick, and doesn’t feel like it’s damaging my hair due to the temperature and air flow.

Got this as a birthday present gift last month not used a hairdryer or straightener since love it

Very happy with this airstrait

Amazing product I have very fine hair just below the jawline. Always looks frizzy no matter how I style it. Using the airstrait has significantly improved the look. I have had quite a few compliments lately. Takes a little practice to use at first.. Great for using on wet or dry hair. definitely recommend.

Amazing products

I bought this before the end of 2025 and so amazing! very convenient even I'm in a hurry, so smooth even on dry hair, so shiny on my hair and I can choose what temperature I want. I love all of this and the precision so good and yet so ergonomics I love it

Perfect!

The tool is perfect for my slightly wavy thick but very fine hair strands. The temperature control it’s perfect and it makes me hair to shiny and smooth! It is very precise and easy to hold!

A Total Game Changer for Thick, Processed Hair

I honestly don't know how I lived without my Dyson Airstrait. Having thick, slightly wavy hair that’s constantly chemically treated, styling used to be a nightmare. This tool has made my life so much easier! It tames my waves into a smooth, natural-looking style effortlessly, and most importantly—zero breakage. My hair feels healthy and looks salon-ready every day. Absolutely in love <3

Love it.

I already have the Dyson hairdryer and straighteners which have always given a good result but take so long. Then along came the Airstrait which does both jobs in one. Yes it is heavier and makes my arms ache a bit but it does the job quicker than before. I am 74, my arms are not double-jointed and I've never been able to do my hair in sections like the models. You need to work out how to hold the appliance as it only blows from one side. Due to the width of the Airstrait I can't get right to the roots and the result is not poker straight (which just shows up that I can't afford for John Frieda to cut my hair personally). I just run hair through the Airstrait which actually even deals with two sections at the back which always ended up with a kink before. I have the temperature at the lowest setting of 120 degrees, which I find to be perfectly adequate, therefore at a lower setting than both my old hairdryer and straighteners which can only be a good thing. I can still manage to turn the ends under slightly (necessary without John's assistance). As I said the result is straight and smooth but not poker straight which I always think is too much and doesn't look natural. I've also noticed a lot less hair fall than before during the process. I would thoroughly recommend the Airstrait - the only problem now is what to do with the redundant old appliances.

Disappointed

So disappointed I got this, I used to have the first gen one and swapped it for this one. there is no suction on the barrels whatsoever so it’s just an expensive hairdryer.

It’s ok.

Product looks well, however I’ve long hair and it found it took forever and its very heavy. You find yourself having to take breaks due to the weight and bulkyness. It also isn’t fully straight, doesn’t stay straight and was quite frizzy. I absolutely love the air wrap though so I will stick with that. Wish I could return but it was a gift.
