Wood Sage & Sea Salt - Classic Candle

Nice candle

I actually really like this candle. As other reviewers have pointed out, it smells slightly different than the cologne. Other reviewers have also commented about the strength of the scent. I have found that the scent fills the room when lighted. If you are used to nauseating strong fragrances, like Bath and Body Works, maybe this candle would be too subtle for you.

Does not smell like the fragrance, buyer beware!

Does not smell like the fragrance, was so excited to get this candle as I absolutely love the smell of the handwash, however this does not smell like it, it's very fresh and still a nice smell but not as interesting or as deep as I was hoping for, shame really.

Smells nothing like the fragrance. Save your money

So not worth the money. I love this scent, and wear the cologne and body cream everyday. This candle smells like an evergreen tree and is so light you can't even smell it even when you walk by - seriously, it smells nothing like Wood Sage and Sea Salt fragrance. I know Jo Malone fragrances are light - I own a ton of them, but this was super disappointing.

I love the scent but it doesn’t fill a room when lit. You can only smell it if you’re within 2 meters of the candle. I still gave it 4 stars because I always re-purpose the jars around the home and think the price can be a little justified as vanity/washroom decoration. Unless you plan to repurpose them I don’t recommend buying as the scent payoff doesn’t warrant the price.

Smells different than the cologne

The cologne version of this scent emphasizes the warm, sea salt aspect, while the candle emphasizes the cool, wood aspect. It smells strongly like pine tree. It’s a nice woody candle, but it’s not an accurate representation of the wood sage and sea salt cologne.

Smells divine.

You don't even have to light these, just take the lid off whenever you want to fill the room with fragrance. I always have one for display and one to light.

This candle has no throw. I’m a huge fan of the Jo Malone colognes, and was excited to try this as I love the cologne version of wood sage and sea salt. I’m so disappointed—I can only smell it if I’m right next to the candle. The scent is nice, but it definitely doesn’t fill a room. Too pricey for something that has no scent throw!

This is my favorite scented candle. You can smell the sea salt and a bit of bright citrus as well as the woody-ness. The smell will fill your room and last well beyond the candle being blown out. You must make sure to burn it long enough the first time so that the burn is even.

Different smell with cologne

Wood Sage and Sea Salt is my favorite fragrance in Jo Malone series. But i have to say the candle has different smell compared to the cologne, it smells like a tree, very fresh, make me feel relax, But i still prefer the cologne smell.

Bought this as a gift for my mom. She really loved it. You can't go wrong with this one!
