Its been almost a month since i received this parfum, i took my time to test it out before writing this review. It lasts long. The bottle looks great in my fragrance collection. No complaints at all. Works like a charm for all the events.

Not your daily driver

It’s certainly a scent that has some staying power. It’s a touch smokey? Too much? I honestly didn’t know what I was smelling. It’s warm and fresh but not something I could see myself wearing daily. Cool bottle, but not every day.

Sweet, spicy, and unapologetically seductive.

Performance is generally good with strong initial projection, though some find newer bottles less powerful than testers. Best suited for cooler weather or evenings, it’s the most mature and elegant take on Scandal—less wild than the original honey-patchouli bomb, but still indulgent, seductive, and eye-catching in its striking deep purple bottle.

Scandal Intense surprised me because even though it carries the “intense” label, the scent does not overwhelm my sensitive nose. The strength is moderate, leaning more toward powdery vanilla and silky smooth florals than anything sharp or headache-inducing. The bottle design is exactly what I expected from Jean Paul Gaultier: bold, crown-topped, and sophisticated without looking cheap, making it feel like a statement piece on the dresser. Projection is noticeable for the first hour but quickly softens into a closer skin scent, which makes it easier to wear in daily settings. I tried Scandal Pour Homme Intense this week and it surprised me. I thought it was going to be all about leather but it actually leans more on tonka and woods with just a hint of leather in the background. It comes off smooth and a little sweet without being over the top. The performance is solid and I can still catch it hours later. It is not a game changing fragrance but it is an easy one to wear and it just smells good.

Long lasting masculine scent

This is a masculine yet playful scent. It’s sweet, woodsy and you have some leather to add some depth. It lasted me for hours and hours! It may be a cute little bottle but it is powerful yet smooth.

Strong of leather, dwindles into sweetnes

Scandal is a great new addition to someone who enjoys a scent that's woody. The perfect one in my opinion if its your first of the line! Ver6 intense with its top note, Clary Sage. Despite it not having the longest life on skin, it's leathery notes are well worth it. Strong first point, and really smoothes down into sweetnes. You'll easily get many compliments wearing this!

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. From the first spray, the clary sage gives an aromatic, slightly herbal opening that immediately grabs attention. As it settles, the vetiver comes forward which gives the fragrance an earthy richness, and the dry down is where the leather note truly takes over, adding a bold, sensual warmth that lingers on the skin. The overall impression is a bold, masculine fragrance that almost leans barbershop-like to my nose and has that classic men’s cologne aroma to it. On my skin, it lasts about 5-7 hours with a strong projection for the first couple of hours before settling into a softer scent. I’d say that this fragrance is quite versatile for any season, temperature, or occasion, though it leans more towards the cooler months and nights out. The bottle itself is also quite striking and in line with JPG’s bold aesthetic with its solid, heavyweight glass and visually distinctive gold crown on top that certainly makes a statement on the shelf. If you enjoy bold, refined, masculine scents with a modern twist, then this one is definitely worth considering.

Jean Paul Gaultier’s Scandal Intense is a great winter fragrance. It has spicy and woody notes, with some sweetness. It lasts the full day on the body, and still smells on clothes the following day. Overall, a great fragrance, but it’s missing a little punch to make it special.
