Excellent scent! I would have loved a full sized bottle, the small travel size is easy to lose, and can only be used once or twice. The small bottle came in a little paper envelope, without any fancy packaging.

Creamy vanilla balanced by sandalwood

Vanilla is the strongest scent in this cologne, but it is balanced well by the mandarin in the opening and the sandalwood in the dry down. You really have to be a fan of creamy vanilla if you’re going to wear this. My girlfriend described it as too feminine, but I thought it was just right with the sandalwood dry down. Overall, a very well executed scent, but not particularly unique. This elixir is milds ahead of the original gold. You don’t need to spray a ton with this. I literally do 1 spray and it’s enough to smell it on myself all day. Best for fall or early spring.

Starting notes are strong and good on nose. The burst of vanilla and sandalwood is interesting. Since it’s a tester I cannot comment on package quality. But I recommend it.

Le million gold élixir est un parfum plutôt decevant, on peut effectivement sentir la mandarine, le bois de santal. L'odeur est intense, peut être trop. Le flacon se veut "luxe" mais donne plutôt l'effet inverse avec tout ce plastique dorée, le spray est quand à lui plutôt agréable.
