[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve gone through 4+ bottles of this foundation in various shades! As my go-to foundation, I always have summer and winter shades on hand. (Photo is winter shade but finish and texture is same across shades) Armani Luminous Silk worked well for me when I was younger with oily skin (finish is more satin and skin-like than dewy) and it’s still beautiful on the skin now that my skin has gotten a little drier over the years. There’s good reason for it being so popular with makeup artists and celebrities since the early 2000s when it was being mentioned in so many fashion/beauty magazines as being a “cult favorite”. I like to try different makeup products but I always come back to this foundation. It looks great in-person, for photography, with or without powder, layers well to cover pigmentation and redness, and lasts through the day with my go-to setting spray. You can see in my before and after photos that one layer evens out the skin noticeably but doesn’t look or feel heavy. I usually add another layer and it builds nicely without looking cakey. Rather than being very luminous I find it to be more of a natural satin skin finish. Even though I have things I want fuller coverage for, I find that Luminous Silk (a layer or two) paired with a spot concealer looks far better than layering on a thicker foundation. My photo with the foundation on has no primer, powder, or other additional products. This is as close to the perfect foundation I’ve experienced (of the many I’ve tried in 10 or so years since I first started playing with makeup) and I will always be repurchasing it! One thing to note is that the undertones and shades of this range can be a little hard to navigate and I definitely recommend going to get color matched. I used a couple bottles of a shade that looked like a good color match but eventually found THE PERFECT color match thanks to actually swatching a broader range of the shades to my skin.

My Perfect Shade! New Must Have!

This foundation is literally my perfect shade! Normally, I have to mix shades to get the correct tone but this was a perfect match. It’s full coverage without feeling heavy on your skin and it blends beautifully.

Don’t buy

I hated this no matter what way I applied it! It went on horrible and looked dried in some spots.

Amazing Foundation!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I am fairly light skinned and this foundation was about 2-3 shades darker than my skin tone. I wasn't sure if it would look good but I was pretty impressed after applying it. I used a little bit, which goes a long way, and it blended in nicely. It gave me a natural glow and made it look as though I had a little bit of a natural tan. I would highly recommend this foundation!

Must Have For Mature Skin

This is the BEST foundation for mature skin. Actually, this is great for all skin types, but I'm in my 60's and have looked high and low for the perfect foundation, and this is it. It gives my skin a natural look without looking greasy, and it doesn't accentuate fine lines and wrinkles. It really looks like your skin, but better. I purchased it according to the recommended color, and 4 is perfect for me for winter. I kept the 4 for winter and purchased the 4.5 for summer. I'm thrilled!!!

A cult classic for a reason!

It melts into the skin like a second layer, delivering that lit-from-within glow without ever feeling heavy or cakey. The coverage is perfectly buildable—from a sheer wash to a more polished finish—while still letting your skin look like skin. Started using this product a few years ago. Really love the way it feels on my skin. Because it’s build able, it helps cover some sun damage!

A Must-Have!!!

I promised myself I would write a review after how well this foundation for me (because Armani Beauty deserves a shout out)! I recently had an appointment to get induced - prior to arriving to the hospital, I decided to do my makeup before going in to give birth. I applied my foundation early in the morning, and let me tell you — after hours of being in grueling pain and after all the sweat and tears (my epidural I requested did not work!)… by the time baby came out, my makeup was still perfect!! My foundation did not budge at all. I highly recommend this Armani foundation - if it lasts through hours of labor, it will definitely last through any event! This foundation has been my go-to for years, is worth the price, and is my holy grail makeup product!

Lightweight yet great coverage. Skin-like!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I had always heard about people raving about this foundation and I never knew why until I finally got to try it myself. The first thing I noticed was that the formula is so lightweight. I feel like so many foundations can be so heavy especially those with higher coverage or moisturizing claims, but this is extremely thin and lightweight which makes application of breeze. I would say it has medium buildable coverage but again I really enjoy that because it looks like your skin. It is a bit less Dewey than my every day tinted SPF that I use but I enjoy the satin finish it gives especially for summer days when I get oiler thorough out the day. Overall I now understand the hype behind this and would definitely recommend! I received this product for free and exchange for my honest review, but my opinions are all my own.

Smooth finish

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This foundation had a nice finish. The coverage was good, it covered up my redness. Unfortunately, the shade was too dark for me. Next time I would choose a much lighter shade.

Best glow foundation for dry skin

I have very dry skin and it doesn’t like any kind of foundation no matter what brands/formula I have tried. Some reason I always get foundation spots after applying it. I tried this one thinking the same results but I am surprised how well it turned out. Texture is so smooth and easy to apply gives you finish look. I would recommend highly
