Moisturizing!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received a free full-sized bottle of Clarins Double Serum from Influenster in exchange for my honest review! This double serum claims to have a hydric side and a lipidic side fueled by 22 plant extracts to firm skin, smooth wrinkles, refine texture, reduce pores, and add radiance! I definitely feel like this serum was hydrating and added radiance to my skin. I live in the camp where I’m not too impressed with plant extracts because I don’t feel like a lot of them have tons of hard evidence behind them for real results. However, I can get on board with the glycerin, squalane, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, turmeric extract, and oat kernel extract in this! This is basically a serum that will give you moisture, hydration, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits… and when your skin is super hydrated, it can look plump and wrinkles can smooth out, but it doesn’t seem to have the ingredients to attack wrinkles head-on as a retinol serum would!

A Bit Underwhelmed for the Price
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I tried Clarins Double Serum for about a month once daily and haven't noticed much of a difference in my skin. I'm not saying it's not a good product because I know some products take longer to see results. Maybe I should have used it twice daily but the serum didn't have instructions on how often to apply. I've noticed other reviews mention the serum has a floral smell, I wouldn't call it floral, but it does have a neutral, light fragrance, more of a no frills active ingredient smell. A smell I would expect from a much cheaper product. The serum felt light and absorbed quickly into my skin which I liked. Overall I've been a bit underwhelmed all around for the price. I will be sticking to my cheaper products that seem to be doing just as good a job if not better.
